On March 18, 2023, the School of Art of the Open University of China (OUC) held an exchange on Wukesong Campus in Beijing as part of the “Online Oil Painting Commune”.
On the morning of March 22, 2023, the Education Foundation of the Open University of China (OUC) of Beijing held the 5th session of its first council at the university. All the directors, council supervisors, and the secretary of the joint Party branch of the Labour Union and of the Foundation attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Ju Chuanjin, vice president of the university and chairman of the Foundation.
In order to deepen the study and implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, firmly promote the national education digitalisation strategy, and accelerate the construction of digital universities, the Open University of China（OUC）held a working promotion and exchange seminar for 2023 spring semester on the "Smart Learning Platform" within the OUC educational system in Hangzhou from 15th to 16th March.
On March 10th, 2023, the Open University of China （OUC）held a seminar for joint training of graduate students in Public Administration with Beijing Jiaotong University (BJU).
On 15-16 March 2023, the Open University of China (OUC) held a seminar in Xiang Tan, a city in Hunan Province, to discuss and share ideas about enrolment.
On the afternoon of 17 March 2023, Cai Guoying, the former vice chairman of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Political Consultative Conference and the president of Ningxia University for Older Adults, visited the Open University of China (also known as the Seniors University of China - SUC) for a discussion and exchange.
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, comprehensively promote rural revitalisation, and contribute the strength of open education, on 16th March 2023, the Rural Revitalisation Talent Training Practice Base of the Open University of China (OUC) was officially launched in Shibadong Village. Fan Xianrui, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of the OUC attended the establishment ceremony and delivered a speech.
In order to deeply study and implement the guiding principle of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and further promote the high-quality development of the Technology Integration and Application of E-Learning, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as Engineering Centre) for the integration and application of digital learning technologies at the Open University of China (OUC), on 4th March 1 2023, Fan Xianrui, member of the Party Committee and vice president of the OUC, led a delegation to visit and exchange ideas with the Key Laboratory of Neuroregeneration of the Ministry of Education at Nantong University (hereinafter referred to as the Laboratory).
