A conference to commend individuals or units for their contributions to fighting Covid-19 in Heilongjiang Province was held recently, with many organisations, individuals, CPC members and grassroots Party groups receiving commendations.  

The Zhejiang Branch of the Open University of China (OUC) recently held a 2020 Yangtze River Delta Regional Credit Bank Construction and Learning Outcome Certification Forum with the theme of “Integration · Connection · Unimpeded Access.”

Ever since the outbreak of Covid-19, the students of the Open University of China (OUC) have implemented the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping on controlling it, following the relevant policies and decisions, shouldering great responsibility, and fighting bravely.

In order to further promote traditional culture and broaden the horizons of teaching staff, on 27 October 2020 the Faculty of Humanities of the Open University of China (OUC) invited Pang Zhonghua, founder and chair of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, to give a lecture titled "Focus on One Thing in Life": A Talk on Living and Calligraphy.

On 20 and 21 October 2020, the Faculty of Political Science and Law of the Open University of China (OUC) held a teaching seminar for the Social Work major in Harbin.

On 27 October 2020, the Lectures by 100 Famous Teachers programme of the Open University of China (OUC) invited the deputy director of the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences, Sang Jinlong, who is also a researcher there, to give a special lecture titled The Construction of "Four Centres" and Educational Development of the Capital.

The standards of a major are established via the standardisation system of the Open University of China (OUC), and are a major’s foundation, guiding its construction and teacher evaluation.
