In an effort to further apply the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), implement the fundamental mission of moral education, enhance the quality of talent development in the undergraduate programme of International Chinese Language Education, and bolster capacity-building for international communication of Chinese culture within the educational system of the Open University of China (OUC), the OUC hosted teaching and research activities focused on the major of International Chinese Language Education and the international dissemination of Chinese culture.
To help implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on building a leading country in education, Gu Xiaosong, academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), member of the Standing Committee of the Medicine and Health Engineering Division and chief consultant at the Engineering Centre, visited the Engineering Research Centre with his team on 4 July, 2023.

On 1 July 2023, in commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Seniors University of China (SUC) and the China Arts Association (CAA) jointly organised a launch ceremony and press conference for the Inaugural CAA Silver Age Art Performance Festival.
