On May 9, 2013, the OUC and the Open University, UK (OUUK) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in Beijing.

On March 18, 2013, Fushun RTVU launched the first “Computer Science for older Learners” training session, marking the official kick-off of the Fushun RTVU community education series.

 

Nearly 70 teachers from RTVUs and open universities nationwide came to Beijing to attend the first and second advanced training classes of 2013 hosted by the OUC’s School of Agroforestry and Medicine on April 15, 2013. The classes, which include agricultural and medical training, were co-designed by the School of Education and the School of Agroforestry and Medicine.

The three-day National Chinese Language Conference ended in Boston, US on April 9. At the conference, the learning resources of the MyEChinese international education distance teaching platform, produced by the OUC’s Chinese Language Center, attracted many participants.
