Yang Jianjia, a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), was enrolled at the Sanhe Branch of Langfang Radio and TV University (Langfang RTVU) from March 2014 to July 2016. He is currently the leader of the driver class of the Eighth Avenue Squadron of the Development Branch of the armed police force with a rank of grade 4 chief sergeant. He has been awarded a first-class merit once, third-class merits twice, personal awards twice, and been named an “outstanding soldier” twice.

In order to further implement the spirit of the Document by Jiangsu Open University on the Development of the East and West Cooperation to Promote Social Education Work and to promote cooperation between Jiangsu Open University and Guizhou Radio and TV University (Guizhou RTVU) in social education, on 10 April 2019, Jiangsu Open University and Guizhou RTVU Social Education Collaboration and Promotion Conference was held in Guiyang.

On 15 April, 2019, a Sichuan Radio and TV University (Sichuan RTVU) Leadership Workshop was held at the Open University of China (OUC).

On 12 April 2019, the Open University of China (OUC), Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, and Beijing International Institute of Asia-Europe Education and Culture (AEEC Institute Beijing) signed a supplementary educational cooperative agreement on a Sino-German Joint Master’s Degree Programme at the OUC’s Wukesong campus in Beijing.

Huang Fengjie started studying at the Haizhu Campus of Guangzhou Radio and TV University (Guangzhou RTVU) in September 2014. He was a junior college student majoring in mechanical manufacturing and automation (numerical control technology) and graduated in July 2017. He currently works as a tutor at Guangzhou Technician College.

Zhang Jian, who majored in finance, is an associate professor and currently holds the position of head of the teaching section of the Academic Affairs Department of the Liaoning Branch of the Open University of China (OUC).

On 4 April 2019, the Open University of China (OUC) signed an agreement with Tongliao Vocational College in Beijing regarding their cooperation on the OUC’s “Dual Enhancement of Vocational Skills and Educational Levels for Housekeeping Service Practitioners” project (“Dual Enhancement” Project).

On the afternoon of 2 April 2019, a launch ceremony for the learner development reform implemented by Sichuan Radio and TV University (Sichuan RTVU) by bridging secondary (higher) vocational education with Sichuan RTVU’s junior college (undergraduate) degree programmes on the basis of the credit bank for lifelong education in Sichuan.
