The Open University of China (OUC) officially launched its “e-cert” on the OUC Learning Network of a few days ago, marking the university’s successful application of a new electronic-licensing technology.

On 23 February 2021, the Department of External Education and Professional Training of the Open University of China (OUC), together with the OUC Credit Bank, the Experimental School, and the Department of Student Affairs and Teacher Development, visited New Future Online Education Group (NFOEG) for a cooperative investigation into the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) certification of innovation and entrepreneurship (hereinafter abbreviated as ESB certification).

The presidents’ meeting of the “Consortium for Benchmarking Framework and Data Set for Online, Open, Smart, and Technology-enhanced Higher Education” (Consortium for Benchmarking Framework in short) sponsored by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) was held via video conference on 17 February 2021. Dr. Jing Degang, president of the Open University of China (OUC), attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

On 27 January 2021, the Open University of China (OUC) held a meeting for the start of the construction of its "Smart Learning Platform" informatisation project. The meeting was attended by Lin Yu, OUC vice president, as well as responsible personnel from relevant departments and representatives of contractors. The members of the project work teams watched the meeting live online.
