AIEXPO2020 kicked off in Suzhou International Expo Centre on 14 August 2020, sponsored by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance (AITISA). With the theme of “Revival of Everything - Future Intelligence" and integrating exhibitions, conferences, competitions, prize-giving, and performances, AIEXPO2020 aims to create a grand international event for AI technology.

On 20 July 2020, the opening ceremony for the MBA major, the first major of the OUC China-Germany Joint Master’s Degree Programme jointly launched by the Open University of China (OUC), the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU), and the Beijing International Institute of Asia-Europe Education and Culture (AEEC) was held at the training base of the AEEC China-Germany Joint Master’s Degree Programme.
The Open University of China (OUC) has released Several Opinions on Improving the Quality of Education and Teaching of the OUC (hereinafter referred to as the Opinions). This represents top-level design for deepening the reform and improving the quality of the OUC’s degree education. It forms an important basis for formulating specific policies, systems, methods, and standards for degree education at the OUC.
On 7 July 2020, the China National Committee on Ageing (CNCA) released the Notice on Announcing the Results of the First Batch of Scientific Research Centres on Ageing. The Open University for Older Adults of the Open University of China (OUC) was successfully selected as one of the scientific research centres, being the only university for elderly people of the 20 approved units.
