Zhang Yingzhao, from rural Hebei Province, is an assistant engineer with the Tianjin Haval Branch of the Great Wall Motor Company. He has achieved not only success but also a happy family life in Tianjin. His life shows how education can transform, in this case through the ‘Action Plan for Realising Dreams of Further Education’."
Ding Lufeng is an excellent driver, and works on the No. 8 line of the No. 3 branch of the Tianjin Bus Company. In July 2014, he entered Tianjin Radio and Television University (Tianjin RTVU) to study for an undergraduate degree in Administration Management, and graduated in July 2016. During his studies, he worked hard, and was focused on practice. He has been awarded a National May 1st Labour Medal and Ministry of Transport Socialist Core Values Award for his contributions to the cause of public transport.

In March 2016, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) jointly issued the Action Plan for the Improvement of Migrant Worker Academic Qualifications and Abilities (Action Plan for short). By 2020, 1.5 million migrant workers seeking academic training and meeting the admission requirements will have received such training free of charge.
Shen Xiaoqin, of the Han nationality, became a student of Business Administration in 2013 at the Open University of China (OUC), and has served as Party Branch secretary and Village Committee director of Beisha Village Committee, Lishui Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, as well as chair of Foshan Aiqin Jewelry.
Dong Xiaohong, a member of the Communist Party of China, is hostess and director of journalism at the Shenyang Radio and Television Station, and has presided over "Hangfeng Hotline", "Finding a lawyer", "Buying and selling second-hand cars" and other programmes on FM 98.6.
Xie Jun graduated with a Master's degree in Constitution and Administrative Law from Renmin University of China, and with a PhD in Constitution and Administrative Law from the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Since July 2004, he has been working as a teacher and teacher manager at the Experimental School of the Open University of China (OUC).
Yang Yang graduated from the College of Literature of Northeast Normal University, first with a Bachelor and then a Master's degree, and received a doctorate in literature in 2013. In 2015, he started work at the Experimental School of the Open University of China (OUC) as a course coordinator, supervising the teaching and teaching management of several majors.
