Zhang Chunyan graduated from the Department of History of Northeast Normal University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and started working at Jilin Radio and TV University (Jilin RTVU) that same year. She is now a full-time professor in the Jilin RTVU learner-support centre. For 33 years, she has been doing teaching and research in adult, vocational and open-distance education. She is responsible, conscientious, dedicated and hardworking, and has made numerous contributions to the RTVU.
Gu Yao has been teaching since he entered Harbin Radio and TV University (Harbin RTVU) in 1999 after graduating from the Law School of Heilongjiang University. He has also been involved in management and research, and has experienced the development of open education under the leadership of the Open University of China (aka China Central Radio and TV University) while aiding in it through his own experimentation and innovation.
Professor Zhang Guangcan is a full-time teacher at the Jiangsu branch of the Open University of China (OUC). Since 2001, he has been teaching and doing research in the major of Economics Administration, and is now dean of the Department of Economics and Management at the Jiangsu branch, and in charge of the undergraduate and junior-college Business Administration programmes.
Mr. Zheng Xinjian has been teaching Law and undertaking legal research since 1988. He is conscientious, strict with himself, and dedicated to serving society.
Sun Yumei graduated from Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities in 1987, and since then has been working conscientiously within the RTVU system.
Chen Qiong graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1986, and started to work for the Open University (OU) of Guangdong that same year.
Zheng Jipeng, a full-time teacher at the OUC Faculty of International Languages and Cultures, has been engaged in college English teaching for 20 years. He always keeps in mind his responsibilities as a teacher and devotes himself selflessly to education and his students, constantly improving himself and the cause that he is engaged in. He always finds a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in his daily work, which gives him the impetus to make further progress in his own field of expertise.
Ms. Zhang Ling is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). She began teaching advertising at the Open University of China (OUC) after graduating from the School of Journalism and Communication of Wuhan University in July 2005. She began to serve as the person in charge of the advertising major in 2007 and has worked as vice dean of the School of Communication since 2014. Zhang Ling has been dedicated and diligent since the start. She is warm and friendly to her colleagues and performs well in all aspects of her work.
Tang Yiting is an associate professor, and a member of the China Medical Education Association. Since July 2002, she has been a course leader in Nursing, Pharmacy and other majors at the Open University of China (OUC), involved in distance teaching and teaching management. Since 2008, she has served as the head of the Department of Medicine and dean of the School of Medicine.
Lai Xiaole graduated from Peking University’s Department of Sociology with a master’s degree in 2007. Ever since then, she has been engaged in distance higher education at the School for the Disabled. Lai Xiaole has been forging ahead quietly at the forefront of teaching and research.
Li Xiaolu is deputy director of the office of Yichang Radio and TV University (Yichang RTVU), an associate professor for the law major, a Moral Model Yichang Teachers, and a backbone of academic research at Hubei Radio and TV University (Hubei RTVU). Over the past 14 years, she has successively served as a class counsellor for the junior college and undergraduate programmes in education for adult students with a junior college diploma to access diploma bachelor’s degree through entrance examinations and in open education
