On 17 June 2022, the special work group (SWG) of the Open University of China (OUC), preparing for the World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference, invited Xiao Lei, director of the executive committee of the China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education, and deputy director of the General Affairs and Research and Development Department of the China Education Association for International Exchange, to give a workshop titled "Preparation and Organisation of International Conferences".
21 June 2022 is a great day for all the people of the Open University of China (OUC). On this day 10 years ago, the Ministry of Education (MOE) issued the Approval of the Establishment of the Open University of China Founded on the Basis of the China Central Radio & TV University, opening a new chapter in the development of the OUC.

On 16 June 2022, the Open University of China (OUC) held a meeting to discuss autumn 2022 enrolment. Li Song, OUC vice president; Gu Xiaohua, director of the Academic Affairs Department; teaching-department heads, and personnel from the Admissions Office of the OUC headquarters, attended onsite, while over 6,000 leaders and staff in charge of enrolment at OUC branches (schools) and learning centres participated via video link.
On 10 June 2022, in order to implement the work plan of the Third Academic Committee of the Open University of China (OUC), and enhance teaching and research, the Economics sub-committee of the OUC Academic Committee held an online academic forum titled Seeking Common Prosperity with the Aid of Small and Micro Finance: the Case of Taizhou.
The Open University of China (OUC) held a lesson plan presentation training session for backbone English teachers on 16 June 2022. One hundred and ninety-eight teachers within the OUC system participated in the training and thirteen teacher representatives gave lesson plan presentations.
On 9 June, the cyber-security and IT team of the Open University of China (OUC) held its second meeting of 2022. Jing Degang, president and secretary of the Party Committee, as well as team head, presided over the meeting and gave a speech.
