The “Job Pairing Recruitment” Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Supported Recruitment” project won a bronze prize. This was the first time that the Liaoning Branch had participated in the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Its participation is of milestone significance in the promotion of the innovation and entrepreneurship work of its school running system.
During a video conference on mobilisation and training held before the competition, Guo Yongxin, president of the Liaoning Branch, stressed that great importance should be attached to the event. He called for careful organisation, strong communication, increased award incentives, and the successful execution of all aspects of the competition. Vice president Li Dongqing pointed out that the college student innovation and entrepreneurship competition is a touchstone for testing the achievements of the university’s innovative education and teaching reform and a stepping-stone to help students grow and become talented professionals. All school running units should commit to developing unique entrepreneurship and innovation-related projects and give full play to the advantages of their majors. They should use the competition to promote learning, teaching, entrepreneurship, and innovation. A correct understanding of the significance of the competition should be established, that is, that the event should be taken as an opportunity to promote significant development and speed up the pace of construction. Relevant persons in charge of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education College guided the preparation process and coordinated matters related to the competition.
In order to do a good job of organising the competition, the Liaoning Branch formulated a specific implementation plan. It also established competition organization committee and expert committee and formulated preferential reward policies. A total of 646 people from 195 teams from each school running unit of the Liaoning Branch system signed up for the competition. Six teams stood out and participated in the provincial competition after competition registration, project application, and preliminary competition selection. Liaoning RTVU also employed experts to improve the projects for the final competition via both online and offline means, which ensured the smooth progress of the competition.
