Wang Zhenlong, president and deputy secretary of Shaanxi RTVU Party Committee, and Dr. Wallace Pound, president of Florida Technical College, signed an agreement to boost bilateral cooperation and exchange on March 14, 2013.

According to the agreement, the two sides will promote further cooperation between teachers, students and researchers in fields such as vocational qualification certification and curriculum exchange.

President Wang Zhenlong said: “Florida Technical College has a lot of experience in the field of non-degree education and there are many similarities between the two sides in terms of individualized and talent-based education. We hope that our teachers will be open-minded about adopting the latest distance education theories in order to satisfy the ever-growing need for individualized study coming from our students. The agreement is a major achievement of increased international exchange and cooperation.”

Dr. Wallace Pound said that he was looking forward to sharing high-quality curriculum resources. He also discussed a number of short-term research projects that will enhance understanding through the means of educational and cultural activities.
