The “General Knowledge Training for Preschool Teachers in Chongqing” televised course made its successful debut on Chongqing’s science and education channel on March 13.
Chongqing Municipal Education Commission decided to launch the televised course in March and April to enhance the overall quality of preschool education and promote its future development.
As the training base for primary and secondary school teachers in Chongqing, Chongqing RTVU is trying out a televised training course for preschool teachers for the first time.
The course features lecturers from the Chongqing Academy of Education Science, Chongqing Normal University, and preschools around the city.
Designed to tackle the specific problems facing preschool teachers, the lectures will be given in the form of discussions and interviews. They will focus on the latest educational concepts and the development of theoretical and practical professional skills.
The ten lectures cover a wide range of subjects, including “The Characteristics and Guiding Principles of Preschool Teachers”, “The Intersection of Child Care and Education”, “The Design and Implementation of Educational Games”, “Creating a Suitable Educational Environment”, and “Communicating with Parents”. The lectures will also be available online and on DVD.
