Recently, Wendeng School of Shandong RTVU held the award ceremony for the 2015 postgraduate students. The first batch of over 20 on-the-job postgraduate students from Wendeng tutorial centre of Shandong University of Technology were awarded academic degrees.

Wendeng RTVU and Shandong University of Technology collaborated in a joint education programme in 2012, in which Wendeng tutorial centre for the on-the-job postgraduate students in Shandong University of Technology was established with programmes offered in Rural and Regional Development, Ideological and Political Education, Agricultural Technology Organization and Service, Agricultural Mechanization, Agricultural Digitization etc. Shandong University of Technology coordinates relevant professors to teach at Wendeng tutorial centre on weekends or in holidays and assigns special tutors to guide the postgraduate students to finish their graduation thesis. Joint collaboration in education like this guarantees the teaching quality as well as solving the conflicts of learning and working for students in Wendeng areas.

Wendeng School of Shandong RTVU is an institute directly affiliated to Shandong province and has been honored with the title of “Advanced Teaching Unit” in Shandong province for a number of years. The number of students enrolled in the School has topped other RTVUs for three consecutive years at township or provincial levels in the province. The college has now registered over 5100 in-school students and it has educated a total of 15,000 graduates and more than 20,000 trainees on short term training courses.
