Based on the fact that students participating in the “One College Student per Village” pilot programme in rural areas of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region live in remote and scattered areas and lack the channels to acquire knowledge and information due to relatively limited access to the Internet, Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University(IMRTVU) recently founded “One College Student per Village" Learning Newsletter to meet the learning needs of students in rural areas.

IMRTVU is responsible for the management of “One College Student per Village" Learning Newsletter, while the IMRTVU School of Agriculture takes care of the operation, editing, printing, and distribution, mailing them to“One College Student per Village" pilot schools across the whole region.

“One College Student per Village" Learning Newsletter is divided into several columns - Learning Guide, Learning Forums, Exercise Collection, and Expanded Learning - all of which are closely related to teaching. The Newsletter uses the teaching resources of the OUC and IMRTVU to provide the students in the "One College Student per Village" pilot programme with teaching management, learning tutorials, and examination assistance services and information, while at the same time providing them with information regarding rural policies, laws and regulations, and rural farming news.
