“To experience the convenience of digital education and the limitless charm of science and technology”. Recently the “Self Guided Tour of Science Popularization of Guangzhou” activity, organized by the Association of Science and Technology of Guangzhou and sponsored by Guangzhou Radio and TV University (RTVU), was held in Guangzhou RTVU, with more than 20 citizens, including ordinary workers, community residents, undergraduates, and children attending the event.

At the venue, a series of activities including lectures on digital learning, interactive questioning, and visiting were carried out. In the process of delivering his lecture, Professor Huang Anxin from School of Management of Guangzhou RTVU introduced the subject of the lectures in a humorous style — “Knowledge and Action”. The lecture was given in a relaxed, pleasing, and cheerful atmosphere. During his explanation of nearly 50 minutes, Mr. Huang helped the attendees to better understand what digital education encompasses, the current situation of the development of digital education, the application of digital education, and so on. 

During a visit to the demonstration base of the public service platform constructed for lifelong learning, the guiding teacher briefly introduced the digital learning public service platform — Guangzhou Lifelong Learning Net. It not only gave visitors a chance to participate in the activity trough real exercise and interaction, but also helped them to personally experience the digital classroom. 

The digital learning education supermarket area gave visitors a chance to interact with a modern product display stand, experience the touch-screen interactive experience machine, and listen to all kinds of digital learning courses. They could interact with online teachers, class teachers, and students in the interactive experience zone and select digital learning products suitable for themselves in the educational products exhibition zone.

The visitors expressed that, through this activity, they had come to better appreciate digital education, expand their own horizons, and renew their thoughts on education. They said they would be more aware of the digital education trend in the future and try to use digital learning methods to enhance their own personal accomplishments.
