To further promote noble morality, promote morality building, and encourage the majority of young teachers to have a heartfelt dedication to their teaching position, Henan Radio and TV University (Henan RTVU) held a morality speech contest on August 28, 2014.

Five Teachers from Henan RTVU participated in the speech contest, namely, Wang Sheng from the Electrical Engineering Department, Zhai Xin from the Humanities and Finance Department, Yang Liuqing from the Art Department, He Zhongzhou from the Construction Engineering Department, and Meng Liqiang from the Information Engineering Department. Their speech titles are as follows: "Love and Dedication", "Lighting up the Future with Love", "Grow Together with Students and Harbor Dreams to be Realized", "Morality Builds up a Man, Teaching Realizes Their Dreams", and "Work Hard and Keep a Low Profile to Hold up Tomorrow’s Sun". Each speech was full of passion, full of moving stories, full of devotion and care for students. The touching sentiments in the speeches give an extremely rich account of the teachers perception of morality from different aspects. They expressed their love and loyalty for the education cause, their care and concern for the students, and fully reflected the dedicated professionalism and high spirits of the young teachers. The audience was deeply moved by their excellent and touching speeches and occasionally burst into warm applause. New teachers of Henan RTVU Song Di and Sun Daiyue said that they were deeply moved by the speeches and had a more profound understanding of what it means to be a teacher. They said they would devote themselves to teaching and learn from those excellent teachers.

Deputy Party Secretary of Henan RTVU and Chairman of the Trade Union Gao Zishuang, Vice Presidents of Henan RTVU Hu Cheng and Ma Dongbin, new teachers and taching assistants enrolled this year, and some senior teachers also watched the speech contest.
