The signing and inauguration ceremony for the cooperative projects of Taizhou RTVU Programme Practice Base and College and University Correspondent Centre for the 21st Century of China Daily between 21st Century, an English newspaper sponsored by China’s largest English newspaper system, China Daily, and Taizhou RTVU was held on May 21, 2014.

The signing of the cooperative agreement was a milestone in Taizhou RTVU path toward deepening teaching reform, strengthening content construction, and promoting open education. This creates a new avenue for Taizhou RTVU to use social resources to a greater degree and via multiple channels, carrying forward the development of programme practice activities in various forms and enhancing the quality of learner cultivation. 

Taizhou RTVU has hope that the two sides will be able to carry out deep, bi-lateral exchange resulting in greater cooperation in learner formation, teaching, scientific research, and social services. The Zhejiang Correspondent Centre of China Daily expressed the wish that the students would embrace the platform and grow up to be outstanding people in their industry. The two sides also reached a consensus on areas such as research for cooperation in teaching English newspapers and magazines in colleges and universities, discipline activity instruction, students’ employment and practice, as well as media and promotion.
