Fo Guang Mountain in Dashu District of Gaoxiong City, Taiwan. The group attended the “2013 International Youth Life Buddhism Camp” activity, which lasted eight days. The team attended lectures given by international and Chinese experts, and took part in a variety of different team activities, along with 1,300 other youth participants from around the globe.
During their visit, the Tianjin team also toured Taiwan Nanhua University, Fo Guang University and the Min-Hwei College of Health Care Management in succession, expanding communication channels for future cooperation and exchange programmes among the respective colleges.
Through the International Youth Life Buddhism Camp, the visiting teachers and students deeply experienced the immense length of China’s history as well as the breadth and profundity of its traditional culture. The trip instilled a sense of pride and mission in the assembled Chinese youth, strengthening their confidence in advocating social harmony and world peace, and boosting their determination to develop the motherland and achieve the great “Chinese Dream”.
