On September 5, on the occasion of 29th Teachers’ Day, the Federation of Trade Unions and the Education Department of Ningxia Autonomous Region held the 2013 Ningxia “9•10” education certificate of merit and education medal awards ceremony. 15 collectives and 30 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to teaching and scientific research in Ningxia’s education system since 2011 were presented with awards. Ningxia RTVU’s Department of Life Science Technology was awarded the “9•10” certificate of merit. Mr. Zhang Xueli, deputy secretary of the department’s general party branch, delivered a speech at the ceremony.
In recent years, Ningxia RTVU’s Department of Life Science Technology has given full play to its personnel and technology advantages, participated in research on the Halal beef and mutton industry, offered technical services to husbandry companies, and created a total profit of more than 800,000 RMB for enterprises.
The Ningxia Autonomous Region “9•10” education certificate of merit and education medal was launched in 2000. It was launched by the Federation of Trade Unions and the Education Department, which is committed to rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals within the region’s education system. The awards are given once every two years.
