Liu Chen encouraged active participation in the competition, consistent reflection, continuous improvement, and the effective enhancement of individual teaching abilities and expertise.
The competition comprises two stages: the preliminary round and the final round. During the preliminary round, each teaching department conducts the selection process to identify 16 teachers who will advance to the final round. The final round consists of two components: the teaching design proposal and the on-site teaching demonstration. These segments effectively showcase the teaching abilities and expertise of the participating teachers, while also reflecting the professional conduct of OUC's esteemed educators.
A panel of seven experts from renowned institutions such as Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Institute of Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Forestry University, and China University of Mining and Technology served as judges for the competition. During the post-competition review session, the judges wholeheartedly recognized the outstanding performances of the participating teachers and offered individualized feedback, providing specific and detailed insights for each participant.
Fan Xianrui expressed high praise for the competition, highlighting its well-organized structure and fair and objective assessment of the participants. She commended the participants for their excellent preparation and remarkable performances, while acknowledging the expert judges for providing objective and insightful feedback. Fan emphasized that the participants should consider this competition as an opportunity to further enhance their teaching abilities based on the valuable feedback from the experts. She encouraged them to actively contribute to the high-quality development of the OUC.
