The Faculty of Education and the Learning Resources Department of the Open University of China (OUC) jointly held their second forum on teaching reforms on 7 December 2022.

Over 80 people from the OUC headquarters Faculty of Education, Learning Resources Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Secondary Technical School, OUC Publishing & Media Group and International Department (Chinese Language Centre), as well as 16 branches, attended.

Wang Haiping presented “Promoting in-depth integration of IT into education: a virtual project on pre-school teaching”

Wang Yu presented “Design and implementation of MOOCs based on practices in four online gold courses”

Chang Huimin presented “Integrated design for reform of Public Math”

Liu Jinglu introduced “Applications of case-study teaching following guiding principles and practice-based reflections”

The forum was presided over by Zhang Feng, vice dean of the Faculty of Education, with presentations given by Wang Haiping and Wang Yu, head and deputy head of the Faculty’s School of Basic Education, as well as Chang Huimin and Liu Jinglu, deputy head of and a teacher in the Faculty’s School of Education Management. Li Wei, director of the Learning Resources Department, and Han Yanhui, a teacher in the Faculty of Foreign Languages, were invited to review the presentations. The teachers present held discussions later.
