LIU Jianming, Han ethnicity, a member of the Communist Party of China, serves as the Secretary of the Party General Branch in Tangdi Village, Lizhu Town, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. He is also the Director of the Village Committee. He enrolled in the 2018 Autumn Landscape Architecture undergraduate programme at Keqiao School, Zhejiang Open University. Over the years, he has been recognised with numerous honours, including being named a National Model Worker, an Influential Figure in Rural Revival, and receiving the title of Responsible Branch Secretary of Zhejiang Province.

Nestled in the hills of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, lies Tangdi Village—a place where over 2,500 years of orchid culture meets 21st-century agricultural innovation. During blooming season, the village transforms into a sea of colour, earning its reputation as "Shaoxing's Premier Flower and Tree Village." LIU Jianming, National People's Congress (NPC) deputy and Secretary of the Tangdi Village Party General Branch, is a pioneering entrepreneur in developing the village's flower and tree industry and a leading figure in the village's path to prosperity.

It all started in the 1980s, when LIU founded a horticulture company—a bold move at a time when most villagers stuck to traditional farming. But LIU wasn't content with personal success. He began leading villagers to establish seedling bases and markets outside the village, opening doors that had never existed before. The real breakthrough came with organisation. LIU formed a flower cooperative and pioneered what became known as the "Company + Cooperative + Base + Farmers" model. This approach transformed scattered individual efforts into a coordinated, "One Village, One Brand" specialised flower village. The results speak for themselves. Today, Tangdi isn't just beautiful—it's prosperous, with thriving flower and tree businesses that have lifted entire families.

Nowadays, technological innovation is gaining strong momentum, injecting new vitality into modern agriculture. LIU noted that a new generation of agricultural professionals should bring back the internet mindset and smart agriculture technologies they learned in cities to make agriculture a promising and rewarding industry.

Since being elected as an NPC deputy in 2018, LIU has consistently voiced support for rural revitalisation through his duty performance. "Speak for the common people, do practical things and seek welfare for the people," this is what LIU often mentioned.

At this year's National Two Sessions, LIU continues to focus on rural specialty industry development, particularly promoting "youth entering rural areas," calling for more young people to bring new technologies, concepts, and business formats to the countryside.
