A Resolute Rose Flourishing Along the Belt and Road
Wang Yeqing began her academic journey at a junior college, but she never gave up her pursuit of higher education. During her time at the Qingdao Open University, she overcame numerous challenges, achieving excellent academic results while laying a solid foundation for her undergraduate courses through self-study. When faced with the unexpected postponement of her English exam for degree-conferral, she did not back down. Instead, with the support of her class teacher, she adjusted her study plan and ultimately passed the exam on her first attempt, successfully completing her studies.
After graduation, Wang Yeqing secured a position with ZTPC, thanks to her outstanding performance and academic achievements. Soon after, she embarked on a journey to Uzbekistan to join the Bukhara Wind Power Project. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Wang Yeqing places great emphasis on engaging with local villagers. She and her colleagues regularly visit and assist the villagers, providing them with essential living supplies and school materials to improve their living conditions. These kind deeds have not only earned the gratitude and respect of the local community but also showcased the positive image and deep friendship of Chinese builders.
On 7 January, the first batch of wind turbines in the 1-Gigawatt Bukhara Wind Power Project passed the reliability test. This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of every participant, including Wang Yeqing.
