Wang Hongmei is from Henan and is a delegate of the 14th National People's Congress. She is currently a senior technical worker at Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd (CATL), a leading Chinese battery manufacturer. She is also a student majoring in administrative management at Ningde Open University in the fall of 2021.

Industrial workers are at the forefront of production and are an important foundation for supporting Chinese manufacturing and creation. Only by being at the forefront of innovation can we adapt to the demands of the new era," Wang Hongmei said. She also mentioned that she will combine her experience and scientific methods in the production line of new energy to stimulate her technical innovation capabilities with greater innovation enthusiasm.

Wang Hongmei suggested the establishment of a diversified evaluation system for skilled personnel and the encouragement of more enterprises to participate in the construction of national occupational skill standards. She believes that this will enhance the sense of achievement, pride, and honor of frontline technical workers.
