Sponsored by the BMEC, the awards are considered important by the OUC, which recommends candidates, observes and evaluates their classes, and submits documents regarding its selections, with its final list released after a strict review by an expert panel. 71 of its teachers have received the “Famous Teacher” award, and 70 have received the “Famous Young Teacher” award.
The OUC intends to further strengthen its teaching teams and enhance teacher development by holding up its award winners as models and inspirations.
