Firstly, to focus on the construction of the demonstration project for integrating ideological and political education into the course of "Principles of Political Science", ensuring the mid-term acceptance review, promoting the high-quality development of the project, and playing a leading role in demonstrating this effort. Secondly, to focus on the construction of teaching teams, discussing the transformation and upgrading of teaching team construction, gathering excellent teaching resources within the educational system, leveraging the advantages of the system, and improving the quality of education and teaching. Thirdly, to focus on the reform and innovation of the initiative of integrating ideological and political education into curriculum, discussing the pilot reform of "blended teaching" in the Bingtuan Branch and Gansu Branch, and the pilot teaching reform of "teaching the same class" in the divisions where team teachers are located, using these pilots to drive deeper teaching reform.
Yang Miaosen stated that seminar on integrating ideological and political education into the course of "Principles of Political Science" is a significant event in the education and teaching reform of the Bingtuan Branch. In recent years, the Bingtuan Branch has focused on strengthening the alignment and synergy between the integration of ideological and political education into curriculum and the ideological and political education, aiming to enhance the quality of talent cultivation, build a multi-level demonstration system, promote the development and innovation of course teaching, and enhance the quality and ability of teachers. The initiative of integrating ideological and political education into curriculum is an important mission entrusted to educators in the new era. Comprehensive promotion of this initiative should be combined with value guidance, knowledge imparting, and ability cultivation to help students shape correct worldviews, outlooks on life, and values.
Participants conducted in-depth discussions around the three key tasks, forming work plans and pilot schemes, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming mid-term acceptance of the project and the pilot teaching reforms.
Li Le, vice dean and professor of the School of Pharmacy at Shihezi University, delivered a special lecture titled "Enhancing Teaching Ability for Integrating Ideological and Political Education into Curriculum and Applying for Demonstration Classes." Combining insights from his own courses, Professor Li shared detailed and practical teaching design concepts and methods for integrating ideological and political education into professional courses, which is beneficial for enhancing the ideological and political teaching abilities of project team members and full-time and part-time teachers at the Bingtuan Branch.
