The Agroforestry and Medicine sub-committee of the Academic Committee of the Open University of China (OUC) held its 2022 professor forum on 18 November 2022, aiming to study and promote the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, advance the development of the Agroforestry and Medicine programmes, deepen teaching reforms, and improve the development of the discipline.
Several experts were invited to speak, including Professor Yan Zhiyong of the Public Health School of Nanchang Medical College, Li Ying, chief physician in the Neurology Department of Haikou People’s Hospital, and Professor Gong Xiaohong of the School of Applied Technology of Hunan Open University.
Members of the sub-committee had heated discussions on the topic of “Healthy China” following the reports by the experts.
The forum received positive reviews from students and faculty in the OUC Agroforestry and Medicine programme, with 315 people attending.
Professor Tu Yan of the sub-committee presided over the event, with plenary members of the sub-committee, all faculty in the OUC Faculty of Agroforestry and Medicine, and faculty and students from the OUC branches attending online.
