In 2018, the Open University of China (OUC) will continue to promote the construction of the learning outcome accreditation system, and launch learning-outcome accreditation sub-centres in the spring of the year.
To date, the OUC Credit Bank has established a total of 70 learning outcome accreditation sub-centres (accreditation sites), covering 31 municipalities and provinces and 20 industries nationwide, and launched the development of a basic credit bank network to serve the public. By the end of 2017, there had been 4.5 million users of the OUC learning outcome accreditation system, including degree students, industry and enterprise trainees, community-education students, and others.

To enhance the user experience, its brand image, and the usability of the learning outcome accreditation system, the Credit Bank has also completed design of the centres and revision of the construction and business documents related to them.
In 2018, the Credit Bank will launch construction of the learning-outcome accreditation system, unifying its online and offline presentation, standardising jobs, responsibilities and service criteria, and launching a pilot project for the construction of the physical service spaces.
The learning outcome accreditation system is a non-profit organisation run by the Credit Bank to implement the accreditation, accumulation and transfer of learning outcomes. It consists of a learning-outcome accreditation centre, as well as sub-centres and accreditation sites. The accreditation centre is located in the OUC headquarters, while the accreditation sub-centres consist of regional and industry sub-centres, with the regional sub-centres located in local open universities, provincial RTVUs and related colleges, and the industry sub-centres in factories, commissions and army bases. The accreditation sites consist of both regional and industry accreditation sites, with the regional accreditation sites located in municipal and county RTVUs (Open Universities), cooperative colleges, community colleges, and educational and training institutions, while the industry accreditation sites are located in enterprises and military organisations.
