The Hong Kong Croucher Foundation Scholar Exchange Project is funded by the Hong Kong Croucher Foundation and implemented by the Open University of China （OUC）and the Open University of Hongkong (OUHK).

The OUC recommends scholars with the right qualifications and the OUHK selects one scholar from among the candidates and submits them for approval to the Croucher Foundation. The approved scholar is eligible for six months of scientific research activities and academic exchanges at the OUHK.

To date, the project has provided funding for two OUC scholars to finish related research projects about open and distance education and conduct related academic exchanges at the OUHK. These research and exchange activities help to broaden the horizons of visiting scholars, promote scientific research cooperation, and further strengthen connections between the OUC and the OUHK, enhancing mutual understanding and deepening programmatic cooperation between the two universities.
