Rich Course Resources
Multilingual Chinese language teaching course programmes broadcast via more than 10 TV platforms both in China and abroad.
Over 30,000 minutes of Chinese language and culture teaching video resources and over 50,000 minutes of audio resources.
Over 100 online courses including progressive Chinese and short-term intensive Chinese courses have been designed and are offered for online learning. To date, more than 14,000 learners from 160 countries and regions have used these courses to study Chinese. Nearly 100 audio-visual and electronic publications on TCFOL have been created and distributed to over 60 countries and regions around the world with some copyrights being transferred to Korea, the US, and France. One of the publications, Journey Through China, an audio-visual textbook on Chinese culture from the OUC, was donated by Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, to Fortismere School in London during her visit to UK in 2015.

Overseas Chinese Language Teaching
The OUC held distance Chinese training for ZTE’s Pakistani staff using a blended teaching model including online self-directed learning and online instruction.

International Students
The OUC is one of the universities that have approval to accept international students to study in China from the Beijing Education Commission. To date, it has accepted around 30 international students from more than 10 countries, including Spain, Austria, Romania, Russia, Tajikistan, and Korea.

Summer Camps
The OUC has hosted immersive Chinese summer camps and experiential Chinese culture summer camps for students from more than 10 countries, including the US, France, the UK, Italy, Mexico, Canada, Thailand, and Laos.

Visiting the Forbidden City
In 2014, the OUC Chinese Language Centre designed a custom Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture training class for two students from Laos, the grandson of the former Prime Minister of Laos, Thongsing Thammavong, and the son of the transportation minister of Laos.
