In 2015, she graduated from the University of Southampton with master's and doctoral degrees in Applied Linguistics. She joined the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Open University of China (OUC) in September 2018, and has been the course leader of Advanced Business English Reading and Business English Reading.

Main research directions:

Applied English linguistics, teaching English to adults, distance foreign-language teaching, English lingua franca research, and others
