Liang Shuying graduated from the Beijing College of Political Science and Law (now CUPSL), and teaches International Law there.

Positions

She is a director of the Chinese Society of International Law, executive vice president of the Beijing Society of International Law, legislative expert with the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, and is listed in the database of experts of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress. She has often been invited to participate in national overseas-related legislative activities and government departments.

She has also published dozens of academic papers in national journals and newspapers, including On the Meaning of ‘Common Heritage of Mankind’, On International Protection of Human Rights, On the Gulf War and International Law, China's Territorial-waters System and Legal Status of Foreigners.

She has participated in writing International Law, a national key textbook in the Ninth Five-year Plan for general higher education, and led or participated in national and ministerial scientific-research projects in China, and related projects at home and abroad.

Professor Liang has taught International Law at CCRTVU since 1999, serving as editor-in-chief and lecturer there.
