Jiang Ping graduated from the Law Department of Moscow University in 1951. He is now a professor emeritus at CUPSL, and doctoral supervisor for Civil and Commercial law.

Vice president of the China Economic-law Research Association

Director of the Beijing Arbitration Commission

Consultant and arbitrator with the expert committee of the China International Economic- and Trade-arbitration Commission

He has been a lecturer at Ghent University in Belgium, the University of Hong Kong, the second Roman University in Italy, Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan, and Columbia University in the United States. He holds an honourary Law doctorate from Ghent University, and has served as honourary professor of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University in Peru.

Professor Jiang has been teaching Civil Law at CCRTVU since 1985, serving as editor-in-chief and lecturer for the course.
