Professor Fu Lei is dean of the School of Accounting of the Capital University of Economics and Business. He also holds positions as the vice director of the Accounting History Programme Committee of the Accounting Society of China; member of the Discipline Board of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants;
consulting expert for accounting standards in the Ministry of Finance; vice director of the Academic Department of the CCAI; and executive deputy director of the University Department of CCAI. He has organized a number of above-province level research projects and published over 80 papers in important domestic and foreign academic journals such as Accounting Research, Management World (Monthly), Business History Review (Harvard Business School). He has also published five monographs and translation works, and nine textbooks, of which a number have won provincial and national level awards. His main study direction is the theory and practice of financial accounting and financial management.
