Wang Xujun, a researcher and doctor of economics, is deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. From September 1995 to July 1998, he studied for his doctorate at the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

From September 1998 to March 2000, he worked at the School of Business Administration Postdoctoral Research Station of the Renmin University of China. He has published dozens of papers in journals including China Industrial Economics. His main works include Optimization Study of Business Scale and Structure, Modern Enterprise Operation and Management and the Fundamentals of Management.
