Wu Guoxiang is a professor at the Open University of China (OUC, formerly China Central Radio & TV University (CCRTVU)), and director of the Department of Finance. He is also a member of the Vocational Financial Education Steering Committee and the China Quantitative Economics Society;
executive director and vice secretary general of the Distance Education Branch of the China Quantitative Economics Society; and a member of the academic committee of the OUC library. He was previously a member of the Financing Education in Higher Vocational College Branch of the Ministry of Education (MOE) Education Steering Committee. Wu has been devoted to financial education for 30 years. During this time, he has won a number of prizes, and the scientific research he has participated in has won a total of three prizes. He has published over 30 papers, collaborated on four books and acted as deputy chief editor or joint editor for 20 textbooks. His masterpieces include Financial Marketing, The Theory and Practice of China’s Financial Reform, and General Theories on the Central Bank.
