Yuan Jihong earned his doctorate in June 2010 from the Department of Mathematics at Beijing Jiaotong University. He currently serves as a full-time mathematics instructor in the Faculty of Education at the OUC. His primary research interests include stochastic analysis, stochastic control, financial mathematics, and biomathematics.

He is presently leading courses in Fundamentals of Economic Mathematics, Research on Mathematics Teaching in Secondary Schools, and Teacher Ethics.
