Xue Wentong is part-time professor of Henan University of Technology; vice chairman of the Agricultural Products’ Storage and Distribution Branch of the Chinese Society of Agriculture Engineering; and vice dean of the teaching materials compiling committee for high-level foods of the China Light Industry Press.

He has led and participated in national scientific and technological brainstorm projects, key scientific and technological projects for the Ministry of Agriculture, National Natural Scientific and Technological Foundation Projects, the National “863” High-Tech Programme, key research projects at the provincial and ministerial level, and international cooperative projects.

He has applied for more than 10 patents.
