PhD, associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of the OUC (formerly CCRTVU) Faculty of Science and Engineering.

She mainly researches the design and analysis of mechanical structures, mechatronics engineering, and distance education in engineering.

As host or leader, she has taken part in the following projects: the China Machine-industry Education Association "Construction of Engineering Distance-education Teaching Team"; the National 863 project "Deepwater Jacket Installation of Hydraulic Equipment"; the National 863 project "Deepwater Pipeline Paving Technology"; the National Natural Sciences Foundation of China project "Biophysics-based Anthropomorphic Motion for Humanoid Manipulators"; the Ministries of Education and Finance special project "Mechanical Engineering and Automation"; and others. She has published more than 30 papers, 6 of which have been included by Ei, and participated in the compilation of the monograph Distance Education in Engineering.

Head of the OUC's Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation undergraduate programme, she hasbeen  the course leader of Mechatronics System-design Fundamentals, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technology, Electromechanical Controls, and Programmable Controller Technology; taught the junior-college Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation courses Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission, Mechanical Design Basics, and Programmable Controller Training; supervised the compilation of high-quality textbooks for the National Machine Industries’ "Twelfth Five-Year Plan"; and participated in the compilation of distance-education textbooks for five engineering courses, including Electromechanical Controls and Programmable Controller Technology.

Led the construction of the online course Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technology, came second in the National Mechanical Vocational Education "Yalong Cup" Teaching Competition, came third in the 16th National Multimedia Education Software Grand Prix, and selected into the 2011 CCRTVU Quality Courses.

Led the construction of the online course Electromechanical Controls and Programmable Controller Technology, which was named an OUC Premium Course in 2015.

Participated in the construction of the courseware "Gear Pump Disassembly Experiment", and came first in the 2009 RTVU Multimedia Courseware competition.

She was leader of the China Education Association of Machine Industries’ "Reform and Innovation of Numerical-control Technology Training for Distance and Open Education" project, which came first in the National Mechanical Vocational College "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" scientific-research competition.
