Liu Xiaoxing is a lecturer and serves as course leader for the Foundations of Computer Applications (Undergraduate) course at The Open University of China (OUC). He graduated from the programming programme of Tsinghua University’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering in 1980, and graduated from the Internet and networks programme at the Central China Radio and TV University (CCRTVU) in 2003.
From 1995 to 1996, he completed postgraduate courses in educational technology at the Department of Electronics of Beijing Normal University. He visited the UK for study in July 2007.
He is now a tutor in the OUC Department of Computer Science and Technology; course leader for the Network Application Service Management and Network System Management and Maintenance courses; and principal of the teaching team for the Foundations of Computer Applications course. In 2008, he won an award during the Third Session of the RTVU Teaching Innovation Award and a course he lectured on won the title of “2008 Outstanding RTVU Course”.
