Research direction: History of modern dance
She has been studying dance since childhood (folk and modern), and has extensive experience guiding the physical development of non-professional personnel. She studied under Marcia Plevin, a senior teacher at the Italian Art Therapy-Expressive Art Psychotherapy Institute, and founder of the Creative Dance Association. She has undertaken interdisciplinary research in aspects of modern dance such as dance therapy, creative dance, and Laban movement analysis and applications. She has been trained as a dance/movement therapist by the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA), and is also a national second-level psychological counselor.
